Each year, Overstock welcomes its top suppliers (partners) to Utah for a two-day conference. I am on the planning committee, where I lead the design – serving as creative director for the event.
The first task is locking down the brand with an event style guide, which eventually provides direction for everything from name badges and wayfinding signage to menus and slide decks.
The theming of the 2019 Partner Council Summit was shipping – with a nod to packing slips and cardboard throughout the event.
Once the event begins, I take the role of assistant show caller, helping the event run smoothly.
